I used to follow everyone back and ask for loads of promos, but about a year after I realised what I was doing was ridiculous and stopped it, even though I had half the amount of followers they were worth double the amount of followers I had before.  They actually like what I post, and care about what I post, they’re not just following me because I follow back.
